The group knits together making, sharing skills and stories from it’s diverse experiences. Currently based in Springburn this group is made of women from Iran, Somalia, Turkey, Ivory Coast, Pakista, Scotland and more countries.

Mothers Of Purl is an on-going and ever changing collective and keen to develop collaborations and projects with similiar groups, both in Glagsow and and further afield!

A Craft Happening - Saturday June 21, 2008:

Not your average craft sale but more a Craft Happening - an exhibition, performance, poetry, music and food! This day of events launched Mothers Of Purl, a group established during the first year of Lindsay Perth's artist residency with Multi-Story. Multi-Story at Toryglen - the exhibition also featured a series of embroidered panels from workshops with Toryglen's Women's Group.
